Greeting Space Cadets, I was sent a link to an article from inspire52.com with some awesome photos that where original black and white but have been Colourized. I have selected some of my favourite colourized photo here and there are 54 on their site to take a look at. The following is the description from there site but with correct spellings :p

Prior to the 1970s, colour photography was hard to come by. These photos below have been “colorized” to help us visualize what the world that we only know as black and white looked like. It’s quite jaw-dropping to see the likes of Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein in living colour. The world has always been a marvellous place, but these photos make it all the more incredible.
