Star Wars Battle Pod Arcade Game is Hoth Stuff | Outside Xbox

We at Outside Xbox concern ourselves mostly with games you play on your Xbox, but we’ll make a special exception for Star Wars Battle Pod, an arcade-only Star Wars game that lets you relive setpieces from the movies in a pod with a domed screen that completely fills your peripheral vision. Watch us tackle the Death Star, the battle of Hoth and a speeder bike chase through the forests of Endor in this video.

With the curved screen and rumbling seat, throttle and joystick controls, plus strategically placed fans to blow air at you, Battle Pod is the closest you’ll ever get to piloting the Millenium Falcon or Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing.

If you’re me, it’s also the closest you’ll get to crashing the Millenium Falcon into the Death Star’s reactor, killing Lando Calrissian and single-handedly cocking up the entire rebellion. Sorry about that, guys.
