Sad news tonight as it has been announced that Rutger Hauer has died at the age of 75 in the Netherlands on Friday after a short illness, his agent confirmed.

For me, he is most remembered for his role as the NEXUS-6 N6MAA10816 Roy Batty in the movies Blade Runner.

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe, Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.”
