Helm Crag – Grasmere
Earlier in the year I took a trip to the Lake District, more specifically Grasmere, to have a go at Helm Crag. It was a good day but extremely hot, I had originally hope to do some time-laps photos but the heat haze made the visual range very poor.
Its an ok hike up this, one of the smaller peaks in the lakes, once you come from the village and get to to bace the first 100 meters is a killer. well it was for me as i was carrying all my camera gear and had a heavy jacket on. so after my breath heart attack at the end of this 100 meter shear section it is a much easier clime and did not take all that much time at all, and there is plenty of space at the top for a nice picnic.
