Greetings Space Cadets, I’m almost finished processing all the photos from our weekend in the Lake District. It was a good trip the weather was not all that bad but after using it for almost 20,000 photos my Canon EF-S 18-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lenses failed. The ultrasonic motor for focusing at 18-35mm has failed (It might have had something to do with standing high up a mountain in icy rain and high winds, maybe).
I’m combining all the photos from this trip and the photos taken from my previously unreleased trip a couple of months earlier. In addition I’ve put together a little video of part of our trip and should have it all ready for Friday after The Hobbit trip to Manchester, but for now here is a couple of examples of what is to come.
