Minecraft – Castle Breaking Ground
Greetings Space Cadets, inspired by pictures from a Minecraft book I got for Christmas today I broke ground on my new Castle.
After travelling North a long distance from my already massive world to find an unexplored and un-rendered region, I started constructing of the Gates of my Castle. A double Portcullis, Bridge and the first sections of the outer walls that will run along the mote that I am still digging out and filling with water. The two red stone working Portcullis’s also hide a Lava trap from above. The Lava trap courses some problems while under construction. Although preconditions for the Lave storage and opening where taken so as no not set the Portcullis closing mechanism on fire, once the Lave spread out the Portcullis may have cough fire a little bit and burnt it down. So a quick rebuild and replace the Lave for water for testing and construction safety. But this did not go will ether as the once the water was released and I realised both Portcullis’s where open and of course the flowed out and in to an exposed opening down both of the Portcullis washing away all the red stone.
