And naturally… things didn’t go exactly to plan.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered throws players into the crumbling ruins of Berlin at the end of World War II. You step into the role of Karl Fairburne, an elite sniper tasked with navigating chaos, outmanoeuvring enemy forces, and delivering precision shots that can turn the tide of war.

🧭 Where We Are in the Journey

With the main campaign already behind us, we’ve now stepped into the DLC content — specifically the “Plumb Hunters” missions.

These shorter scenarios are focused, experimental, and often packed with unique objectives. Tonight marked the beginning of that journey with the legendary Assassinate the Führer mission — a compact but unforgettable slice of Sniper Elite chaos.

💥 What Happens in This Episode

We begin in a train station — the kind of setting that practically screams stealth. Tight spaces, patrolling guards, and endless opportunities to slip through unnoticed… or so you’d think.

Instead of taking the obvious approach and weaving between train carriages like a trained operative, we fully embraced “videogame logic.” That meant heading all the way down to the end of the train and looping back around the other side — because why make things simple when you can make them interesting?

Once in position, things escalated quickly. Waves of enemies began pouring in, forcing a shift from careful stealth to controlled chaos. Shots rang out, plans unravelled, and more than once we found ourselves scrambling to recover as firefights broke out.

There were flashes of brilliance in the madness — clean headshots, near-perfect positioning, and a particularly satisfying sequence of eliminations that kept the pressure manageable. But as always, the elusive “Plumb Shot 🍒” remained just out of reach, with a few near-misses that had both chat and myself reacting in real time.

Then came the moment.

The Führer appeared… and immediately started running.

No dramatic pause. No cinematic standoff. Just pure panic as the target fled the scene like a coward.

There was no time to line up the perfect shot. No time for finesse. Just instinct.

The trigger was pulled.

And in classic Sniper Elite fashion, we were rewarded with a slow-motion kill cam as the bullet connected — a brutal, unmistakable finish that left no doubt. Mission complete.

Short, sharp, and absolutely chaotic.

🎲 Chaos After the Kill

With the mission wrapped faster than expected — these DLC levels are surprisingly compact — the stream took a turn into full community mode.

We jumped into Marbles On Stream, and this is where things truly descended into delightful madness.

The first tournament? Won by Papasoup60. Again.

At this point, it’s less of a coincidence and more of a conspiracy. Chat was quick to call it “rigged,” and honestly… the evidence is stacking up. It hit like being served gazpacho ice-cold when you were expecting it piping hot — confusing, unsettling, and deeply suspicious.

But balance was restored in the second tournament, as I managed to take the win myself — echoing the victory from the previous night’s stream. Order, at least temporarily, returned to the universe.

We closed out the night by raiding into SargentRusty, passing the energy (and the chaos) along to keep the night going strong.
