The North African campaign continues, but this mission quickly proves that patience alone isn’t always enough. Every carefully planned shot, every inch of progress, and every tactical decision feels earned as the Ponts Du Fahs Airfield fights back with relentless determination. What begins as another calculated infiltration soon spirals into one of the most chaotic episodes of the series, where unseen snipers, impossible deaths, and mountains of defeated enemies create a mission that’s as entertaining as it is unforgiving.
This stream perfectly captures what makes Sniper Elite III so enjoyable. There are moments of tense silence as targets are lined up through the scope, followed almost immediately by complete chaos as everything goes spectacularly wrong. Between the hunt for those elusive “plum shots,” plenty of laughs with chat, and a finale packed with explosions, this episode delivers another memorable chapter in the campaign.

With realistic ballistics, iconic X-ray kill cams, and expansive levels filled with opportunities for creative problem-solving, every encounter feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved—provided you can stay hidden long enough to solve it.
🧭 Where We Are in the Journey
By Episode 7, the campaign is well underway, and Karl Fairburne’s mission continues deeper into enemy territory. This time the objective takes us to Ponts Du Fahs Airfield, where securing vital intelligence and disrupting Axis operations means navigating one of the most heavily defended locations encountered so far.
The difficulty has steadily increased throughout the campaign, and this mission demonstrates exactly why. Enemy positions are stronger, sniper duels become far more dangerous, and even the smallest mistake can send the entire operation spiralling into disaster.
⚠️ What Happens in This Episode
The evening begins with an important tradition making its return—the hunt for those legendary Plumb Hunters moments and the elusive cinematic “plum shot.” Spirits are high as the first patrols are quietly eliminated, with enemies being drawn out one by one until the opening section of the airfield finally falls silent.
From there the mission settles into a steady clockwise sweep around the map, carefully dismantling enemy positions while inching ever closer to the central sniper tower. Unfortunately, that’s exactly where everything starts falling apart.
Instead of providing the perfect vantage point, the tower becomes the birthplace of what chat quickly christens another #Deathloop. Enemies somehow manage to shoot through the floor, while three incredibly distant snipers remain almost impossible to spot before opening fire. Every attempt to recover only seems to restart the nightmare, but persistence eventually wins out as those hidden marksmen are finally discovered and eliminated.
With the worst seemingly behind us, attention turns towards the runway and the bunker hidden beyond it. After fighting through stubborn resistance, the important documents are secured before slipping into an ideal sniper position behind enemy lines. From there the airfield descends into complete chaos.
Wave after wave of soldiers pours towards the position, only to be met by carefully placed rifle fire. As the bodies continue piling higher and higher, it becomes impossible not to wonder why they keep charging forward. The battlefield begins to resemble something straight out of Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator, with seemingly endless reinforcements marching into exactly the same fate.
Explosive barrels, fuel dumps, aircraft and enemy vehicles soon add even more spectacular destruction to the mix. Viewers calling for bigger explosions certainly aren’t disappointed as chain reactions ripple across the airfield, each successful detonation bringing another satisfying step towards completing the mission.
Just when victory appears within reach, three tanks decide to join the fight.
Running isn’t an option, and ammunition is becoming dangerously scarce. Fortunately, the battlefield itself provides the answer. Scavenging rocket launchers from fallen enemies while carefully crossing fields littered with defeated soldiers, enough firepower is gathered to begin dismantling the armour one vehicle at a time. The final stretch becomes a desperate balancing act between limited resources and overwhelming firepower, culminating in one perfectly placed grenade eliminating the last cluster of infantry before the remaining launchers finish the tanks once and for all.
Boom. Mission complete. Time to get out of there.
The action didn’t stop once the campaign mission ended either. The community rounded off the evening with another entertaining session of Marbles On Stream, where Mr V once again claimed Grand Prix victory before everyone wrapped up the night by raiding into Ashens, bringing another fantastic community stream to a close.
Throughout it all, chat kept the atmosphere lively with discussions ranging from the hot weather and staying cool to nostalgic conversations about Teletext, classic television, Pokémon hunting, Indiana Jones references, and plenty of friendly banter. Even the repeated frustrations over missed cinematic “plum shots,” impossible enemy angles, and those unforgettable death loops became part of the entertainment rather than setbacks.
