Fallout 4 | Ep. 51 – Final Mission of Nuka-World. I Hope They Have Souvenirs
It’s finally time for the last mission in Nuka-World! The lights are flickering, the raiders are armed to the teeth, and my Power Armour is held together with hope, duct tape, and an alarming lack of aluminium.
This was supposed to be a clean finish to the DLC. Instead, it turned into one of the most chaotic streams we’ve had in a long time. Explosions, Deathloops, improvised repairs, and an unexpected hunt for tins dominated the night as we pushed towards the end of Nuka-World and discovered that sometimes the biggest enemy in the wasteland isn’t raiders… it’s running out of scrap.
☢️ About the Game
Fallout 4 throws you into the ruins of post-apocalyptic America as the Sole Survivor of Vault 111. The Commonwealth is a dangerous place where every bullet counts, every settlement can become a home, and every choice shapes the world around you.
Whether you’re hunting mutants, building thriving communities, or stomping around in Power Armour looking for one more tin can, the wasteland always finds new ways to surprise you. Nuka-World takes things even further, sending players to a once-glorious amusement park that’s now home to rival raider gangs, deadly attractions, and more questionable health and safety decisions than seems physically possible.
🎢 Where We Are in the Journey
Episode 51 marks the end of our adventures in Nuka-World and the conclusion of one of Fallout 4’s biggest DLCs.
After dozens of hours exploring the Commonwealth, building Sanctuary, and battling our way across the wasteland, we’ve finally reached the moment where we decide the fate of Nuka-World itself. With Far Harbor waiting on the horizon, this episode acts as both an explosive finale and the beginning of a new chapter.
Before we sail off into the fog, though, there may be a bit of settlement building to tackle back home at Sanctuary.
🔥 What Happens in This Episode
The evening starts innocently enough. We head off to speak with Shank and wrap up the DLC properly. Then chat intervenes.
Mr Smith, otherwise known as asmith501, suggests the “fun” option: slap Shank and see what happens.
Reader, I slapped Shank.
Shank immediately vanished, every raider in Nuka-World decided I’d committed the greatest betrayal in history, and the Open Season route exploded into life. Suddenly the park was a warzone.
What followed was an endless cycle of firefights, repairs, and the increasingly desperate cry of “Where are all the TINS?!”
Our Power Armour took an absolute beating. Arms shattered, chest plates failed, and after several glorious #Deathloop moments it became painfully clear that we simply didn’t have enough aluminium or steel to keep the suit operational. Retreating to Sanctuary, we rummaged through every suit of armour we’d ever parked there, mixing and matching parts just to scrape together something battleworthy.
Then it was back into the fight.
Thankfully, the explosive round machine gun was having a wonderful evening. Raiders were reduced to red mist at an alarming rate as we pushed through Nuka-World, battling gang bosses and surviving more absurd combat situations than I care to admit. Piper alternated between heroic support and arriving just in time to claim the glory, while chat kept the jokes flowing and happily blamed every disaster on Bethesda physics, Gary, or my questionable life choices.
Despite the chaos, victory slowly came into view.
The raiders fell, the market was liberated, and Nuka-World delivered its surprisingly satisfying good ending. The traders were finally free, I had enough tins to make some repairs, and for a brief moment everything seemed peaceful.
Naturally, it wasn’t over.
We still had to restore power to the park.
Compared to the carnage we’d just survived, the power station felt almost relaxing. Feral ghouls were swiftly introduced to explosive ammunition while we navigated what can only be described as the least health-and-safety-compliant building in the Commonwealth. Seriously, how did this place ever pass inspection?
Eventually we found the controls.
The power surged back to life.
Fireworks exploded overhead.
And just like that, Nuka-World was complete.
Returning to Sanctuary laden with loot, we made one final discovery. After over 100 hours desperately hunting for aluminium and tins, we visited a vendor in Diamond City we’d somehow never spoken to before.
She sold bulk aluminium.
I have never felt so betrayed by the wasteland.
With our Power Armour finally restored to full strength, we called it a night. Next time we’ll spend some time improving Sanctuary before eventually setting sail for Far Harbor.
We also wrapped up the stream by raiding into Fahr_Avayana and sending the chaos onward.

🌒 Closing Thoughts
The fireworks have faded, the raiders are gone, and somehow we’ve finally found enough tins to keep the armour running.
Nuka-World may be behind us, but the wasteland still has plenty of stories left to tell.
Until next time,
